black friday Another Black Friday
I can hardly believe that it has already been one year since a traipsed around store after store with my mother-in-law on black friday.  Of course this year will be no different (sans mil).  Even though I vow every year I will never do it again, there is some sort of magnetic force that draws me back.  I just cannot stay away from Black Friday.

This year I’m getting an even earlier start.  I found this awesome website http://www.blackfriday.info/ that lets you browse the Black Friday ads and even make lists for the things you want to buy.  Then it organizes your list by store and has the stores hours listed right there so you can plan your morning accordingly.  Although, this year some stores are opening at midnight and others at 3, 4, and 5 a.m. so I’ll be lucky if I get any sleep at all.  Oh well, sleep is for losers right?

Who’s with me?  You better get started.

I have never gone to a store on Black Friday, not even when I worked in retail. I’m so competitive, I think I’d end up getting arrested.

I am not a shopper so do not find Black Friday intriguing at all, except may be hitting Target this year if their kitchen appliances are marked down as low as the Internet claims they’ll be…

Oh, Jeez. There is no way I could endure black friday again. I did it once a few years ago and it was worse than waiting in line at space mountain. I’m committed to buying everything on amazon this year! :-) I hope you survive. Really, make it out alive! hahahaha

A little itty bitty part of me misses working at Waldenbooks on Black Friday. For four years I worked at the mall-based book retailer. I loved that job –– even on Black Friday. I used to get an adrenaline rush from buzzing around the store pointing people in the direction of Nora Roberts and Stephen King. People are better behaved in bookstores.

And I love Natalie Dee’s cartoon drawing!

    Unplanned,
I find that Kohls usually has pretty good deals on kitchen appliances. Check out the website. Although I did stand in line at that store for an hour 2 years ago.

Ahh Black Friday. The day of people running into stores to get their hands on that special item on sale. I’m not sure If I’ll make it this year. Every year people seem to get more violent.
