How do crumbs find there way into my silverware drawer and cupboards when there is no food near them?
I watched MILK finally last week. DH and I were silent throughout the whole movie which is rare. I came up with a new slogan “Guns don’t kill people, HATE kills people.” Wouldn’t that be great for an anti-hate website?
We have ALIENS in our house. At least I think that’s what the baby monitor is trying to tell me. Remember in the movie “Signs” they could hear the aliens through the monitor?
Kabobs are the worlds most perfect meal. I am obsessed with making them. Last night I put chicken breast, mushrooms, onions, red pepper, and pineapple on skewers. I smothered them with a mixture of olive oil, lemon juice, paprika, salt, garlic powder, and white pepper. I found the recipe for the mixture this past weekend when I was making lobster tails and it was so delicious I decided I could probably put it on anything I grill. I was right, it was fabulous on the kabobs. It is just one of the easiest and tastiest meals ever. I make some rice to go with them and viola a perfectly balanced meal. Chris likes them because they are easy to clean up after.
Is it rude to respond to a voicemail with a text message? Sometimes I am tempted to but then I just end up calling because I’m not sure if the person would get offended. What do you think?

I think a response to a voice mail is ok in certain situations but not all. I would use with caution. I am very frustrated with technology and the ease of things getting misunderstood by email and text. Maybe in time we will get used to it and find a way to make it work better.

I have not heard that etiquette rule. Sometimes people must text if they are at work.
I would add fear to the anti gun slogan. The thing is some are the aggressors and some are the defenders. You are a eyes wide open kind of girl.
Love ya!

It’s actually meant to be an anti-hate slogan not really an anti-gun slogan though you know I am that as well.
I’m still not sure about the text thing. It makes sense that some people have to do it at work but everyone knows I’m not working!

I totally would text back. It’s quick and you don’t have to get on the phone and get into a long conversation about something totally unrelated to what they called you about in the first place. lol

Haven’t seen MILK yet but I better Netflix it soon. I love love love Kabaobs —– taste good and easy clean-up?! That is my kind of food….
I’m not a texter so I have no advice on that one! I suppose it would matter who it was being sent to.
Great RTT!

I totally know what you mean about the baby monitor. Sometimes when it is quiet and I have it on I hear scary noises. Then I think of the movie the Sixth Sense (tape recorder scene) and I have to go check on the baby.

My sister and I heard a whole telephone conversation of the neighbor over my sister’s baby monitor when she was visiting…it was hilarious because at first we were thinking we were hearing voices and checked on the baby who was fine, then we sat and listened to a conversation that sounded like it could have been a soap opera…fun times!
I think texting a reply to a voicemail is OK as long as the voicemail message doesn’t specifically require a return call… a reply by text would be quick and easy.
Happy RTT!

Oh no, I would die if my neighbors overheard my telephone conversion. I don’t need ANOTHER reason for them not to like me!

I leave voicemails for my son, he texts me. I just hate trying to have an entire conversation over text. Maybe if I had a real keyboard, but the regular phone ones are a pain.
How about posting that entire recipe? I have been looking for new stuff to do with chicken and it sounds delish!

Here is the link for the lobster tail recipe. I just used the same mixture for the chicken and vegetables.

I respond to EVERYTHING with a text message. I went to dinner with another blogger once and we tweeted instead of talking to each other just for fun. You just floored me with the silverware thing. It’s mind blowing.

Oh I thought the SAME THING when that movie Signs first came out. We had baby monitors and for WEEKS after my son refused to let us turn them on for his little sis. lol

Well, I don’t know for sure if they don’t like me but let’s just say it’s complicated.
