I like working out while I'm doing it, and I have many reasons to be motivated, but I'm just not. I try SO hard, but there's always a reason (probably more of an excuse) not to do well. I'm still truckin, though!

I love working out- but I never really know how much I love it until 15 minutes in so my thing is I just need to start. I am a matron of honor at my BFFs wedding in 8 weeks and I that has been the biggest motivation for loosing the 30 ish pounds I've lost.

Julie,

Your site is an inspiration to me. I can't wait to get my Wii this Christmas.

Heidi,

That's one of the reasons I wished we still lived in Ca. Being able to exercise outdoors year round is a blessing. We're also hoping to get bikes this Christmas.

My motivation is ... well ... I don't really have a motivation for exercise. It's weird too, because I have to motivate myself ALL the time to do other things – namely WRITE (ie: my job.) I'm one of those strange ducks who actually LOVES exercising. I know you probably want to elbow me in the face right now, but it's the truth. I love it! There are certain types of exercise I don't love. For example, doing crunches. I despise ab workouts. Instead I do things I love – biking, swimming, kayaking ... I love being outdoors and I love outdoor activities, so biking is a double whammy. I'm outside, getting sun AND burning calories. Now that I've roped Joe into biking it's like a triple whammy. I'm outside, burning calories, AND spending time with my fiancé, who is a couch potato.

The fact that he bikes with me means so, so much. In fact, last Saturday after an 18-mile ride, he said to me, "Ya know, I don't think we'd be getting married if I refused to bike with you."

I considered it for a minute and I was about to say, "nonsense!" When I realized he was right. Being active is so important to me that I'd go crazy if my husband didn't join me on at least a few rides a week ...

Phew. Long response, eh? Now if only I could lick this chocolate addiction.

Everyone in the Wii Mommies forum and all my friends on Twitter and at home for support. Since I lost the weight, I'm determined to not only keep it off but to try to motivate and support as many people as I can.

I know what you mean Wendy. My husband is a big motivation for me as well. I would not be able to do it without him.

my motivation's my husband. LOL. seriously, we had been working out for several years already and it has come to be a family affair for us. I just slowed down a little bit these days because of my pregnancy. but my first pregnancy was so wonderful that I am even more motivated now to maintain my gym routine (just like what i had with my first):-)
